Talk to your books from your AI assistant.
Connect Claude, or another assistant that supports MCP, to Crispa. Ask what’s still open this month, chase missing receipts and send vouchers off for booking. You approve before anything is booked.
What is still open before we can close September?
Read from Crispa: missing documents, reconciliation status, inbox
Three things. Most of it is vouchers that are ready to book.
Example data. Click a tab to see another conversation.
What you’ll be able to do.
Most of it is reading. Two things change something: uploading documents and asking for a booking. You approve the booking.
See what’s in the inbox
The vouchers that are waiting, which ones are ready to book, and what’s holding up the rest.
ReadsFind missing documents
Which payments still need a receipt, by vendor, and which uploads were rejected or skipped.
ReadsCheck the bank
Accounts, recent transactions, what’s reconciled and what isn’t, and the bank lines that best fit a waiting voucher.
ReadsRead the ledger
Journal entries, one entry with all its lines, and your financial reports.
ReadsKnow the chart
Your chart of accounts and VAT categories, so the answers point to the right account.
ReadsLook up who you trade with
Vendors, customers and recent sales invoices.
ReadsUpload documents
Drop receipts and invoices into the chat. They go to your Crispa inbox and get processed like any other upload.
Adds to the inboxRequest a booking
Send the ready vouchers off for booking and check on the request. You approve it in Crispa first.
Needs your approval
See what’s holding up month-end.
Ask once and get everything that’s still open across the inbox, the bank and the missing receipts, with a count for each.
“What is still open before we can close September?”
“Which bank account has the most unreconciled lines?”
Example data. Click a row to see what the assistant can do about it.
Chase the missing receipts.
The assistant lists the payments that don’t have a document yet. Drop a receipt into the chat and it goes straight to your Crispa inbox.
“Which payments in September still need a receipt?”
“Here are three receipts. Add them to the inbox.”
| Date | Vendor | Amount | Document |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sep 26 | Cloud hosting | €412 | |
| Sep 19 | Design software | €89 | In the inbox |
| Sep 12 | Taxi | €34 | |
| Sep 4 | Office supplies | €156 | In the inbox |
Example data. “Add receipt” shows what happens when you drop a file in: it goes to the inbox, and nothing is booked.
You approve every booking.
The assistant can ask for vouchers to be booked, but it can’t approve its own request. You see the vouchers and the total in Crispa and decide. If a voucher changed after the request was made, we skip it.
“Send the ready vouchers from this week for booking.”
Example data. Try the buttons. In the real thing they’re in the Crispa app, where the assistant can’t reach them.
The assistant gets things ready. You approve them.
People are careful about letting AI near their books, and they should be. So the assistant only prepares the work. Anything that changes your books waits for you.
Nothing leaves your account until you approve.
Mostly, it just reads.
AI assistants make mistakes, and a cleverly worded document can mislead them. We built the server assuming both will happen.
Read only
These look things up. They can’t change a figure, a voucher or a setting.

You approve
You approve each booking request in the Crispa app. If you’d rather not approve every batch, you can allow bookings for up to eight hours and switch that off whenever you like.
It sees what you see
You sign in with your Crispa account, so the assistant gets the same companies and the same access you have.
It’s all logged
Entries booked through the assistant are marked that way in the entry’s activity, along with who approved them.
Worth knowing: whatever the assistant reads from Crispa goes to the AI provider you use, under your agreement with them. Pick your assistant with that in mind, and check its answers like you’d check a colleague’s.
